irony on a rainy day Friday

Rainy Day Friday and ironic placement of a book store

JOURNAL ENTRY, 07/11/2015, 07:48 hrs., PST, Saturday, my place, 8°C drizzle, MOOD 50/50 and sneezing ha ha

Went and got my haircut and got a first hand picture from my barber of the refugee problem on the Greek Island of Lesbos where he was visiting his family.

Then wandered around downtown looking for a desktop calendar that allows you to put in your own dates. I should have bought five of them initially because the only ones available are pre printed for 2016. But all my hand calculators are dead so bought a handy little one pocket sized and easy to use.

Went to the VAG hoping to take lunch there but over half the tables were reserved so no joy there. Noticed that Indigo/Chapters have opened their new downtown shop on Granville Street a few doors down from where the Granville Book Company used to be. Friend Bob Cole died before he could see the irony of it.

I wonder if the owner of Indigo/Chapters is still financing young Jewish males and females to take their summer holidays with the Israelly Army and perhaps shoot some Palestinian kids before coming back to Canada. This would seem to be a terrorist act that we Canadians are blissfully unaware of. Perhaps its because the owner of Indigo/Chapters is a big contributor to the Liberals and Conservative parties here in Canada.
