DISORDER

Is there any logic

in the reality on my table

and do I see the words first

or hear them

when searching for something

do I search the left side of my brain

or wait for my brain to reveal it

as I wander aimlessly

looking in all the wrong places first

and become pleased with myself

when previous lost items appear

like odd lost socks in the bottom of the laundry bag

signalling the need to get my lazy ass

to clean up and get things where they belong

this group of words occurred to me

while in the midst of falling asleep

reading an article

on global warming

and straitening up and flying right

by protesting in the street

reflecting on how careless

we all have been caring for the only place

we can survive in

in the universe

it appears that we are

an evolutionary mistake

getting more redundant

by the day

well here at least

I can re order

the disorder

pictures at eleven
