ORDINARY EXISTENCE

Can't sleep, Fm headphones on, listening to George Carlin contemplating the all suicide channel and other non sense and then listening to a girl who took her own life but leaving us with a sense of what could have been, and life in the fast lane.

As life speeds past on the highway of time so fast that the telephone poles look like a picket fence and the past recedes at the speed of light and yet my face itches in the now begging for a shower and shave and my mouth begs for another cuppa coffee.

The sound track echoes from the past as if it was in the now and I search the files for images to illustrate these musings as if somehow this drivel is important and not another example of white noise, and trying to keep two opposing realities in my mind at the same time.

Entertained to death, anything to escape the boredom of ordinary existence, sigh.
