That deaf dumb and blind kid

sure plays a mean pin ball

said the sound track

in the red head's bed

We were in mid hump

and I almost said my wife's name

and in my exertions

my memory was in lock down

and why forty five years later

merely hearing the WHO

the red head's
 name was suddenly important

finally washed up and put away

last night dishes

while my iTunes played

random songs

haven't shaved yet

and my face itches

as the sun rises outside

on a day where the forecast is rain

and the shuffle plays songs

I've never heard before

with five thousand tunes

on my hard drive this is not unusual

the ones I've never heard

have no memories attached to them
