Saw
a very confusing but entertaining film yesterday (Midnight Special)
after losing Jack Simpson in the theater. The story was somewhat
confusing about the supposed kidnapping of a five year old boy who
was the center of worship by a large cult being investigated by
various government agencies because of the purchase of a large amount
of guns. Whoda thunk it in the land of mass shootings and and 2nd
amendment NRA gun nuts.
The
kidnappers were one person who was portrayed as the father of the kid
and his bosom buddy a retired state trooper,
later
in the story a woman was added but I have no idea how she fit into
the story.
Then
it got further confusing with some sort of aliens from outer space
coming to retrieve the kid and the kid being able to burn down the
place just by looking at it. A mystery wrapped in a mystery.
On
another matter have struck upon a way to complete my Birthday scrap
book. I have one of the small Polaroid cameras
and
will be taking two Polaroid pictures of each guest one for my scrap
book and one as a souvenir for the guest.
