SNOT
WORLD
When
all you hear is
not
and
you have is a head
full
of snot
and
you have run out of tissues
making
unimportant
all
other
issues
and
the ugly watch
on
your wrist
says
so what
as
if you didn't exist
and
the wage slaves
are
not at their post
but
they ain't late
or
they would be toast
but
that's the future
like or not
when
you have a head full of
snot

Accurate AND poetic!
ReplyDeleteRegarding another, famous author - considering his audience, and humour, I'm surprised there was never a children's book on snot, written by Dr. Seuss. Do you think he thought, maybe, yeah, but his editor or publisher talked him out of it? I mean, there are so many cool words that rhyme this snot - hot, bought or bot, caught, shot - let's have a shot.... well... on second thought... maybe not.
