A day old image

accompanied

by fifties

bebop

by Miles before

he became

miles and miles

of Miles

on the night of a choking cough

flu that can't see

the hoped for sense

of enough

so I sit at my keyboard

staring at my

silly little screen

cause no can hear my silent scream

watching the sports teams

on their field of dreams

but nothing is as joyous as it seems

and the fat fan yells as he rips his jeans

the only solution to all the strife

is that these idiots

must come out of the fog

and get a life

and discover the code

of day old images

and the music

coining in from the cold
