Twenty eight million children

TWENTY EIGHT MILLION CHILDREN

Surfed the news channels, and saw that in the refugee stream from areas of conflict and global warming disasters that there are an estimated twenty eight million children either on the move or in squalid refugee camps.

Regardless of where we live and at what level of well being, these children are our responsibility. If they survive this trauma and grow up they are the next wave of terrorists.

This is one of those horrendous stories that leave all of us feeling totally helpless, and aside from throwing money at it, what are we to do?

The immediate need is for food aid and medical aid but with the combatant sides gleefully bombing hospitals and refugee streams and shattered cities to support tyrannical regimes or loony tune religious sects seeking to recreate a time that never was.
