GOOD BYE KEN “R”

my place, 11°C dark and drizzle, MOOD 40/60

Yesterday's brekkie started out to be a bit of a surprise, New Mitzi's was closed for repairs so we went to a cafe/bakery across Pender , The NEW TOWN, and had a fine farewell breakfast for Ken “R” where Jack”W” picked up the tab.

It kind of shakes me up that another of my 4 Sister;s co-op friends will soon depart for Windsor Ontario and I probably will never see him again.

Its been a tough six months realizing that I'm playing out my string. First it was the supper in the fall with the cousins where I'm the oldest and it will be very unlikely that we would all be in the same room again.

Added to that was the passing of Bob Cole, Jim Britton, and Johnny de Jesus, all, very close friends. Luckily I have a lot of friends quite a bit younger than me so its not like I'm running out of friends.
