A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE

A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE

JOURNAL ENTRY, 21/08/2016, 07:42 hrs., PDT, Sunday,my place, 21ºC muggy and sunny, MOOD 60/40

Listening to Willie Nelson on my FM headphones having just finished my first coffee. Watched the Hip last night both on my large screen TV and my (also large screen laptop with closed caption so I could get all the words to the songs) the CBC did us proud..

The last time I was in Kingston was 1992, a town that had many good and some painful memories. I survived when many others haven't, I came home to Vancouver in 1973 and life has been kind to me, having celebrated my 80th birthday with my daughter Heather and son Ian and the dude, Sasha, my grandson.

Next year on July 1st our wonderful country will be 150 years old. In 1967 was when me and family moved to Kingston, hoping I can touch base in Kingston on what will probably be my last road trip next summer.

Ciao, JWL
