FELL
OUT OF BED
JOURNAL
ENTRY, 14/08/2016, 03:21 hrs., PDT, Sunday, my place,

clear and dark, MOOD 50/50
Tumbled
out of bed and thundered in going to the washroom. Will put the
kettle on and make my first coffee. All thoughts are a jumble
although I really enjoyed the history of Art Kane's famous jazz photo
in Harlem taken in 1958 posted on my home page by jazz buddy Ron Hearn.
CBC
news another shoot em up in the Excited States of America and a knife
attack on a Swiss Train wounding five people and then the perp tried
to set the train on fire. The perp was arrested by Swiss police and
was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
The
man who wrote the book, ENTERTAINING OURSELVES TO DEATH, sure knew
what he was talking about (Neil Postman). I have fallen prey to it
myself and if I'm not being over stimulated visually I'm usually
overstimulated audibly.
And
no matter how much my hearing deteriorates a dripping tap 20 ft.
away will wake me, go figure.
